PSEG-LI Solar Entrepreneur Program • Feed-in Tariff (FIT)
PowerFlex partnered with Clare Rose to deliver rooftop solar solutions at both its East Yaphank and Melville facilities, totaling more than 2.6-megawatts (MW) of installed capacity. The 1.6-MW system in East Yaphank features more than 5,000 solar modules and generates nearly 1.9 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually — meeting almost 90% of the facility’s electricity needs. At the Melville location, a 1.10-MW rooftop system with 2,988 modules produces over 1.3 million kWh each year. Both projects leverage state and federal incentives, including the PSEG-LI Solar Entrepreneur Program and MACRS depreciation, to maximize financial returns and accelerate payback. With advanced features like string-level inverters and real-time data monitoring, Clare Rose benefits from reliable clean energy, significant cost savings, and a combined annual carbon reduction of more than 2.5 million pounds of CO₂.
