About Siemens VersiCharge Gen 3 EV Chargers
The third generation of Siemens VersiCharge AC chargers is designed for versatility and durability, making them a fit for a wide range of applications, including workplaces, retail centers, multi-unit dwellings, and light-to-medium-duty fleets. Key features include a rugged NEMA 4X housing suitable for indoor and outdoor use, integrated high-performance dual-band Wi-Fi, and a J1772 (J-plug) connector.
The VersiCharge Gen 3 and VersiCharge Gen 3 Blue are nearly identical in terms of performance specs, however, the latter is engineered to be Buy American-certified. This certification is often required for projects receiving federal funding or grants, as it ensures the infrastructure complies with regulations aimed at strengthening U.S. supply chains and supporting local manufacturing.
