Zerova AX48 Features

Ideal for commercial use, the AX48 is a single-phase 200-240Vac Level 2 charger capable of delivering 48 amps of current. It can be mounted on a pedestal or wall for maximum installation flexibility and features an integrated cable management system, reducing tripping hazards and improving overall aesthetics.

The charger comes with a standard J1772 plug. For customers desiring Tesla compatibility, an NACS cable is also available. The AX48 also features a 5-inch LCD displaying pricing and energy output, making for a transparent charging experience for drivers.

Optimized With Adaptive Load Management

Our Zerova AX48 chargers leverage PowerFlex’s patented Adaptive Load Management® (ALM) algorithms to intelligently manage charging demand in real time.  

With ALM, power to chargers is distributed individually based on facility load, driver schedules, and other inputs. This allows drivers to get the power they want by the time they need to leave while preventing spikes in energy usage that can stick site owners with expensive peak demand fees from their power company.

ALM allows more chargers to be installed using a fraction of the aggregate peak power normally required. This enables properties to scale up chargers to meet driver demand without needing to upgrade their electrical infrastructure — saving them up to 60% on implementation costs.

PowerFlex App Compatible

The AX48 is compatible with PowerFlex’s highly rated mobile app. Available in the App Store and Google Play Store, the app allows drivers to find a PowerFlex charger near them, start and manage their charge session, and easily make payments. When using an ALM-enabled charger like the AX48, drivers can input their desired energy level and how long they plan to stay parked to ensure they’re charged up and ready to go once they return to their vehicle.
