As Allied Beverage Group prepared to open its new headquarters in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the company faced the challenge of integrating a large-scale solar solution into a facility still under construction. With high energy demands and a commitment to sustainability, Allied needed a partner who could coordinate closely with ongoing building work to ensure the solar installation was completed efficiently and on schedule. The goal was to maximize onsite clean energy generation, reduce long-term electricity costs, and establish the new headquarters as one of the most energy-efficient distribution centers in the state.

PowerFlex partnered with Allied Beverage Group to design and install a 4.6-megawatt (MW) rooftop solar energy system at the company’s new headquarters in Elizabeth, New Jersey. By working in tandem with the building’s construction schedule, PowerFlex’s experienced team ensured the solar installation was completed efficiently and without delays. The system now generates 5.6 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy annually — meeting 85% of the facility’s onsite electricity needs and ranking as one of the largest rooftop solar installations in the state. By leveraging the NJ SREC Program and optimizing system design, Allied Beverage Group benefits from substantial energy cost savings, reduced carbon emissions, and a resilient, future-ready distribution center.
