Simon & Schuster and PowerFlex Announce Completion of Rooftop Solar Installation in Delran, NJ

Simon & Schuster, a ViacomCBS company and leading publisher, and PowerFlex announced the completion of a 2 MW rooftop solar project at Simon & Schuster’s Riverside Distribution facility in Delran, NJ. The solar system will generate 2.2 million kilowatts of clean energy annually, equivalent to matching one-third of the facility’s onsite energy use. Through Simon & Schuster’s notable sustainability efforts, the company will reduce its carbon footprint and capture significant energy cost savings. The environmental benefits of the solar system are equivalent to saving 900 acres of forest according to estimates provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
